This morning I woke up and had a bunch of energy. I was surprised I got so much done. I ended up making 4 cards, washing dishes, cleaned the living room, bathroom, and kitchen all before my mom came over at 10 am. Then I went with my mom and my aunt to Granny's Antique store in Temecula. We ended up going to the antique store instead of to the craft show. Maybe I'll drag my husband to the craft fair tommorrow.
I had these embossed cards sitting around and decided to experiment with them. Last Tuesday I learned how to work with clear stamps and chalks at that Stampin It Up event at my friend's house. So I went to find similar products to see what I could do. I found some clear stamps and the stamp block. I saw the chalks there, but I wasn't going to pay $16 for chalk. So I went home and started experimenting with some of the old eye shadows I had in my medicine cabinet. I was able to create the same effect of chalk using the eyeshadow colors. I used a Q-tip to blend the colors instead of the $5.00 chalk applicators. I think that the cards turns out ok for not knowing what I was doing. Actually my mom wanted one of these cards to use as a card for her Anniversary next month.
Enjoy the pictures and have fun creating something new and exciting this weekend!!!
