My Scrapbooks
I was looking at the website and it seemed like it was missing something. I forgot to put in my own scrapbook albumns/layouts. So here they are.
My style has evolved over the years. I've tried several different styles and techniques and spent a fortune on all the supplies. My favorite way to start a page is to begin with the pictures and to use a scrapstack of papers. I recently started playing around with eyelets and brads. But I still like my pages fairly simple---too many flourishes, embellishments and techniques takes away from the pictures. I also like trying to using several pictures on a page and tie them all together with a simple title. Sometimes I journal and sometimes I don't. It depends on my mood. I rarely go back to a page. I think I've only ever used one pre-made scrapbook. For me it is easier to get started by using the pictures for my inspiration...I guess that's why my books seem thematic. Must be the teacher in me.
Below are the links to some of my scrapbook attempts. As you look at the pages you will see how my scrabooking has changed over the years. I won't bore you with the whole book just about 3-5 pages of my favorite pages to give you a sample of what my style is like. I've seen some of your work, and I know they are much better than this, but this is where I'm at in my scrapbooking journey. I'm sure it will change in 5 years when I learn a new technique and/or they come out with more fancy equipment for scrapbookers to buy.
