I have so many different projects going on at the same time, I'm not sure where to start. Last Saturday I did the craft show at the elementary school. The little adjustments we made to the table display and putting up the cards on the tomato trellis made a huge difference in sales. There was not a lot of people at the show, but there were a lot of people that needed cards. I was grateful that I did not sell jewelry because there were 12 jewelry vendors in a show with 20 vendors.
On Sunday after church, I decided to clean out our garage. Then for some reason I was in an organizing mood. I decided to rearrange my craft room and try to organize everything. After several hours, I actually did it. The room looks a whole lot bigger and it functions a whole lot better. I'm much more productive in this new arrangement. I've actually made 19 new cards since Sunday. That's really good for me.
So I will share some of those cards with you over the next several days. I have not taken pictures of all of them yet and I don't want to scare you off. I started making more birthday cards and some wedding cards. I started doing the wedding cards because several people asked for them, and I lost sales because I didn't have any. So live and learn. Not sure if I like all them or not, but it is what it is.
I think my favorite is the first 2 pictures...actually it is the same card. I was trying to make an engagement card that a guy could give to the woman he would be proposing to. I was thinking as soon as she opened the card he could make the real proposal with the real ring. When I told my husband about it, he thought the idea was kinda lame. I guess that's why you never see these kind of cards at Hallmark. But the romatic in me still like the concept. Tell me what you think.
Enjoy the pictures. I'm going to try to go and make something else while I'm on a roll. Have a blessed week.
